Buddy’s Brick Bunch at LEGOLAND® Florida

LEGOLAND® Florida is searching for a few great kids to become the first members of Buddy’s Brick Bunch, a youth panel that will serve as advisors and kid reporters on a variety of items related to LEGOLAND Florida. The Buddy’s Brick Bunch competition is aimed at children ages 8 – 12 with a passion for LEGO®, who love LEGOLAND Florida and, most of all, are adventurous and fun.

The Buddy’s Brick Bunch members will have the chance to participate in exclusive opportunities at LEGOLAND Florida throughout their 12-month term including an opportunity to be the first to experience the park’s newest expansion, The World of Chima presented by Cartoon Network, which features an interactive water ride, “The Quest for CHI”, a SpeedorzTM Arena, and Cragger’s Swamp. Select members may serve as kid reporters and spokespersons for The World of Chima while others may participate in decisions on activities for special events such as Brick-or-Treat and Kid’s New Years’ Eve. Members may also serve as advisors to the General Manager on future developments of the park.

“I’m looking for a passionate group of children that can share their experiences at LEGOLAND Florida from a kid’s viewpoint, as well as, serve as my advisors for future park enhancements and developments,” said Adrian Jones, general manager at LEGOLAND Florida.

Each of the six winners will participate in a training experience on June 15-16, 2013, where they will meet park staff, go through a familiarization tour, and receive training. Buddy’s Brick Bunch members will also have a special building experience with Master Model Builders to construct a LEGO model that will be displayed in the park throughout their 12-month term. Winners will receive lifetime passes to LEGOLAND Florida and the LEGOLAND Water Park, and up to four annual passes to the park for family members.

Interested children need to have a parent or guardian’s permission to apply.  Applicants must complete the online application and submit a current photo at www.LEGOLAND.com/BuddysBrickBunch. All applications must be received by May 17, 2013 to be considered.  Winners must be able to participate in the training experience June 15-16, 2013 and be able to visit the park two additional times during their 12-month term. Winners will receive full VIP treatment for them and their families during one of the two visits and will have the opportunity to host their birthday party at the park.

Throughout their 12-month term, Buddy’s Brick Bunch members will experience LEGOLAND Florida’s more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, as well as the fantastical new World of Chima, and be able to share experiences from their view.
